Pull down elements in lists - overviews

User-defined field of type pull-down lists will not display text content in lists (such as table view of tasks) - but with a number element. This does not provide a good overview of the list - have a strong desire that the text content from the drop-down appears in place of item number .. Maybe not a bug, but not particularly logical.

Re: Drop-drop elements in lists - overviews

Okay, a bit complex to explain. Enclosed is a screenshot of a pull-down list (sorry for calling it drop down). In list view for tasks, these custom field does not show the contents of the list item, but an array-id .. Not a human way of reading the information :-) See the field "Selskap" - here it should be A-pressen AS (which is id 0 in the list) - not the number 0 (array element number). See?

Re: Drop-drop elements in lists - overviews

yes, I know about his problem and it's already fixed for V2
to fix it load attached file to 'core\apps\frontend\modules\extraFields\templates\'
just rewrite file
and note this will work for new items or you have to update already create items
sorry bout this issue

Re: Pull down elements in lists - overviews

But still a little issue with user-defined pull-down lists when you edit them. Example: A list containing 20 items (used in my example for tasks). Selects the item number 10 - and save. Everything OK - but on re-editing of the same task this list will not display item number 10 - but always item number 0. In other words, big chance that errors occur when editing forms with pull-down lists - as long the list reset itself to item 0 in edit mode.
