Replay to issue via email

Hi,

When a client creates a new issue through the app, we leave a comment on this issue. The problem is if the client responds by mail, the answer is not tied to this issue but automatically creates a new one.

It works only if the client makes a new issue via mail, and we leave a comment.

Can you show us your settings for public ticket and the email tickets for the ticket departments involved?

Hi,

It seems the problem is that ID ( [ID] ) is missing in the subject email message.

Are there any solutions to that?

We do not use public tickets.
Tickets are only used by registered users.

At the moment it's not supported. Tickets created in app don't have message id, because it's not email. Only tickets by email can have reply in comments.

Will this feature be supported in the coming versions?

We have not decided what will be in the next version.

However, this is an open source solution, so you are meant to change it to do whatever you specifically need for your company yourself rather than rely on upgrades to do that.
